Requirements
- Digital CD Changer is built for iPhone and supports CarPlay on compatible vehicles and receivers
- The app requires Music Library access to display albums and start playback
- Available albums depend on the music currently accessible in your Apple Music library or purchased music library
- Some CarPlay behavior may vary by iOS version, vehicle, receiver, and current Apple system status
Frequently Asked Questions
The app says Music access is turned off
Digital CD Changer needs Music Library permission to show your albums. If access was denied previously, open the Settings app, find Digital CD Changer, enable Media & Apple Music access, then reopen the app.
My albums are not appearing
Make sure the albums are available in your Apple Music library or purchased music library on this device. If you recently changed your library, close and reopen the app so it can refresh. Library availability may also depend on your Apple Music subscription status, sync state, and whether the music is still available through Apple.
CarPlay is not showing the app or looks out of date
Confirm that CarPlay is enabled for your iPhone and vehicle or receiver, then disconnect and reconnect CarPlay. If the interface still seems stale, reopen the app on iPhone and try again. CarPlay templates are controlled by Apple, so final appearance and availability can vary by system version and hardware.
Playback will not start
Check that the selected album or track is still available in your library and that Apple Music playback works normally on the device. If playback was interrupted by another audio app or system event, try again after returning to Digital CD Changer.
A slot shows an unavailable album
This usually means a previously assigned album can no longer be resolved from your current music library. Remove or replace that slot with an album that is currently available on this device.
Purchases, Billing, and Refunds
Digital CD Changer is sold through the Apple App Store. Apple handles billing, purchase history, and refunds. If you need help with a charge, refund request, or purchase issue, please use Apple Support and your App Store purchase history.
